We are looking for a caring and supportive SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team.
In this role, you will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to support students with a range of special educational needs. You will help pupils access learning, build confidence, and develop important life skills in a safe and inclusive environment. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with additional needs.
* Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning activities.
* Support students with learning difficulties, autism, ADHD, or social, emotional and mental health needs.
* Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction.
* Monitor progress and communicate regularly with staff and parents.
* Help with personal care if required (depending on individual needs).
Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Have experience working with children or young people with SEND (preferred but not essential).
* Be patient, understanding and flexible.
* Have good communication and teamwork skills asa SEN Teaching Assistant
* Be committed to helping every child achieve their potential.
* Be reliable and able to work under guidance and on their own initiative.
