The Role: Where No Two Days Are the Same
This isn't a "sit-behind-a-desk-all-day" kind of job. As an Internal Sales Specialist, you'll be the face (and voice) of our business. Your time will be split between:
The Phone Lines: Managing inbound enquiries in a busy sales office, providing accurate quotes, and following up on orders with a professional, "can-do" attitude.
The Trade Counter: Building relationships with our regular trade legends and helping retail customers find exactly what they need face-to-face.
What You'll Be Doing
Consultative Selling: Understanding customer requirements and suggesting the best timber and building solutions.
Order Management: Processing sales through our system with high attention to detail.
Problem Solving: Handling technical queries and stock availability like a pro.
Relationship Building: Turning one-time buyers into lifelong customers through exceptional service.
What We're Looking For
Experience: Previous experience in a timber or builders' merchant is a must
Communication: You're equally comfortable chatting with a contractor at the counter as you are handling a complex quote over the phone.
Energy: We're busy You'll need the ability to multitask and stay sharp when the "rush hour" hits.
Knowledge: An interest in timber or construction products (though we'll provide plenty of training).
