The role of Electrician will include:
1. Maintaining electrical installations and replacements in tenanted and void properties, ranging from changing a faulty light fitting or socket to partial/full rewires and CCU upgrades
2. Inspecting and testing of occupied and void properties, ensuring safety and compliance
3. Completing all paperwork and producing certification associated with works undertaken
4. Monitoring and maintaining good levels of van stock to achieve a 1st time fix and ensuring tools and equipment are kept in a suitable condition
Skills and experiences:
5. To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to 18th Edition - 3rd and 4th amendment, NVQ Level 3 in core electrics, City & Guilds 2391-52, AM2 or currently undertaking the qualification. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
6. Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
7. Analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
8. Good communication and interpersonal skills along with a customer focused approach
9. This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

20. Effective 1st April £41,192 per annum (rising to £43,360 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
