Day‑to‑day of the role
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across Mechanical, Electrical, and IT/OT disciplines.
* Troubleshoot and solve engineering/manufacturing challenges using proven techniques.
* Support site development and the execution of capital projects.
* Manage and prioritise maintenance activities with a strong focus on EHS, Food Safety, and production.
* Control engineering spares stock and help reduce utility costs through continuous improvement.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, legal standards, calibrations, and safe systems of work.
* Maintain 5S standards in the workshop and wider plant.
* Keep accurate, timely records and support engineering audits.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Engineering qualifications/experience – desirable if within FMCG or the drinks industry but not essential.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage teams.
* Experience working with ERP systems (SAP desirable) and confidence with Excel.
* Highly organised, detail‑focused, and able to balance individual initiative with team collaboration.
* Calm under pressure with a positive, problem‑solving attitude.
