- Hybrid £51,927.91 per annum We are looking for an experiencedContracts Managerto play a key role in the Property Directorate, responsible for overseeing and managing a large portfolio of subcontractors.This position places a strong emphasis on contract management, financialoversightand the effective delivery of services.
You will be working closely with the Repairs,Voidsand Healthy Homes Managers to ensure contractorscomply withcontractual obligations & standards,monitor& manager KPIs/SLAs, lead regular operational meetings with subcontractors and drive performance management by issuing formal performance improvement notices.
It will be your responsibility to ensuretimelyreceipt andaccurateupdating of data relating to job statuses and manage all work variations in line with the agreed processes.
Oversee workstream budgets, making sure that contractorsoperatewithin the agreed contract values which includes reviewing and validation contractor valuations, checking schedules of rates accuracy and preventing contract drift or scope creep.You mustmonitorand report on expenditures against budgets, supporting the forecasting of future spend based on service demand and resource availability.
You will lead on contract dispute resolution, including negotiating claims, preparing for adjudication as well as review andmaintainupdated risk assessments & method statements for each workstream whilst ensuring compliance with CDM requirements.
We are looking for a candidate who has in-depth knowledge of building regulations, health & safety legislations andpossessesstrong technical understanding of building construction.
It is necessary you can interpret complex information relating to the built environment as well as a solid understanding of construction contract law, includingtermination processes and statutory compliance associated with subcontracted works.
Our ideal candidate is knowledgeable in the Decent Homes Standard and current Homes England (HCA) requirementsand proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
You must be able tomanage competing priorities, meet deadlines, andmaintaincomposure under pressure while delivering on commitments.
