Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff by ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about food and hospitality, and who thrive in a fast-paced environment and who possess great initiative. The days are mainly Monday to Friday and day time hours as we are a brunch restaurant but will also include some weekends and evenings, you must be flexible.
Duties
* Assist in food preparation and basic cooking tasks as directed by the chefs.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and utensils.
* Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
* Support the culinary team during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating where necessary.
* Help with stock rotation and inventory management to ensure freshness of ingredients.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards.
* Assist with deliveries and storage of supplies when required.
Qualifications
* Level 2 food hygiene certificate.
* Previous experience in a restaurant kitchen is essential.
* Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills would be advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
* A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing excellent service.
* Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Pay: £10.00-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
