About the Role
Senior Specialist Practitioner will hold a professional qualification in relevant field with demonstrated post qualifying experience of working with children and families. The post holder will carry a caseload of complex cases, work with minimal supervisions and provide case supervision, mentoring and support for HLM Family Support Workers.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
· Professional qualification in relevant field with demonstrated post qualifying experience of working with children and families.
· Direct experience as a practitioner in a childcare setting and undertaking Mental Health case work with children and families.
· Experience of mental health risk assessments, managing complex cases.
· Ability to supervise/mentor more junior members of staff, such as Family Support Workers, volunteers/students
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
