Entered 2024 with 'New year, new job' energy?
This is the opportunity for you!
Carbon60 is a shining jewel in the Impellam Group crown. With over 45 years of excellence behind us, we are proud to have become a brand name for technical recruitment and project engineering in the UK and not only.
Role overview:
As a Senior Consultant, you will be a part of a highly successful Engineering team and work on an established perm desk in the Manufacturing industry. The beauty of this role is that you will have direct contact with the existing client base and a steady regular flow of jobs all ripe for picking.
In a nutshell, you will be responsible for maintaining excellent relationships with our clients and effectively generating candidates for a variety of vacancies across manufacturing industries at all levels. You will then support them through the recruitment process with CV advice, interview organisation, interview preparation, provision of feedback, management of the offer process, salary negotiation, as well as pre and post start check in.
We do love a bias for sales here at Carbon60 and we wouldn't mind some business development - the more you grow your desk, the faster you work your way up. Once you get those new clients in, you will negotiate and agree commercial terms with them for each service. Ideally you will have done this before and can navigate the intricacies, but your team and Seniors will always be there to support you with those difficult closes - we all have them; our purpose is to support you and set you up for success. #weareallcarbon60
We also appreciate a good life-work balance, so the role will be hybrid, with three days working from our Segensworth office.
Person spec:
To be successful in this role you must have previous recruitment experience, either in-house or agency. We are looking for a strong communicator with good influencing skills and knowledge of the manufacturing market. A background in new business development is ideal, but not mandatory.
What's in it for you?
1. Competitive base salary - we believe that true talent should not be boxed in or deterred from applying. Our aim is to offer you a fair reward that reflects your level of experience and skill, so we are open to discussion and negotiation.
2. Autonomy to do your work, your way, with full support on hand should you need it
3. Hybrid and flexible working to suit work life balance
4. Full, ongoing training and development - we will support throughout your career to ensure you are successful and you're reaching your north star
