At Minster Yard, we're looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader to guide and support our team in providing outstanding care and education. In this leadership role, you'll mentor, nurture, and create a positive impact for children, families, and colleagues.
To be considered, you must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Pay: £29,120 per annum, based on experience (40 hours/week).
Working Hours: 38-40 hours over 4 days, Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm.
Location: Little Green Rascals Minster Yard, 7 Minster Yard, York, YO1 7JD.
About Our Nursery
Little Green Rascals Minster Yard offers a home-from-home environment with natural, locally sourced, and organic products. We care for up to 125 children aged 0-4 years across five rooms, with facilities including a Forest School area. Located in York city centre, we are accessible by bus, train, and bike. What Being a Nursery Room Leader Involves
Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor your team to deliver high-quality early years education with passion.
* Support nursery operations and ensure consistent quality.
* Model initiative, creativity, and high standards of care.
* Build strong relationships with families, colleagues, and external agencies.
* Oversee implementation of the EYFS framework.
* Manage nursery operations in the absence of the Nursery Manager.
* Support professional development and continuous improvement.
* Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children.
