VoltHosting is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our team in a voluntary capacity with a strong focus on upskilling. This role is ideal for individuals looking to expand their technical knowledge while gaining hands-on experience in the hosting and IT industry.

We offer a range of services, including website hosting, game server hosting, virtual private servers (VPS), and comprehensive managed IT solutions. As a small, customer-focused team, we prioritise providing outstanding service and fostering growth within the tech community.
What You’ll Do:
* Provide support via live chat, tickets, and optionally phone calls
* Assist customers with Windows, Linux, cPanel, and Plesk-related issues
* Support game server hosting and virtualization platforms
* Troubleshoot general IT issues and escalate when necessary
* Learn and develop skills in systems administration, development, and more
What We’re Looking For:
* Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
* Experience with cPanel and Plesk
* Understanding of virtualization (e.g., KVM, VMware, Proxmox)
* Preferably experience with game servers
* General IT knowledge and troubleshooting skills
* Must be 18+, reside in the UK, have the right to work in the UK, and be willing to sign an NDA
* Someone willing to contribute approximately 10 hours a week (flexible)
