Desired Skills and Experience
One of our clients are seeking a Senior Project Planner to support the development, management, and coordination of project programmes working across their portfolio (GSP and energy projects).
* 6‑month initial contract
* Outside IR35
* Andover based
* Office based
The role involves working closely with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams to build accurate programmes, update progress, highlight risks, and support NEC compliant change processes. This is a hands on planning role focused on creating and maintaining high quality schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring project teams have clear and reliable programme information.
Key Responsibilities
* Programme Development & Management – develop and maintain detailed project programmes using Primavera P6.
* NEC Programme Requirements – ensure programmes comply with NEC obligations, including scheduling & project coordination – perform critical path and float analysis to identify constraints and risks.
* Reporting & Communication – produce clear programme reports, dashboards, and updates for stakeholders.
Experience
* Extensive P6 knowledge
* Minimum 5 years’ experience as Senior Planner (min 10 years Planning experience)
* Experience working with energy sectors on high value infrastructure projects
