SO2 Training Infrastructure Maritime Unit Role: Provide soft and hard Infra capability for UK DTE and Overseas locations in order to meet Defence’s operational and training requirements. Position Role : Maritime Infra SME and single Service representative within the UK & Overseas Defence Training Estate (DTE) to assure effective delivery. 1. Represent Navy within the Army TLB funded and DIO managed UK and Overseas (UK & OS) DTE to ensure Navy requirements are met. 2. Represent Navy requirements for the annual and long-term programmes of work for Maintain, Sustain and Minor Change across the DTE. 3. Review and assure DIO performance and delivery of the programmes of works as agreed in the CIDP with a focus on Navy requirements. 4. Develop the Navy infra programme of works for UK & OS DTE to inform Army B&I ABC annual submissions and long-term planning consideration. 5. Act as OTIC Risk Manager ensuring Army understands risks and issues across the DTE raising risk reports as required to RC Risk Manager 6. Performance manage and develop DIO, Contractor and HFM staff relationships between RC, Navy and units. 7. Control Local Infrastructure Improvement Fund (LIIF) and provide interface between regions and the CIDP.
