Contract Manager – FM Service Provider – Central London – £70,000 - £75,000 per annum

CBW is currently working in partnership with a leading SME / FM Service Provider to recruit an experienced Contract Manager. This role presents a rare opportunity to oversee the hard services delivery across a high-rise, multi-tenanted commercial building that hosts some of the world’s leading finance, legal, and technology organisations. The building is known for its cutting-edge design, premium amenities, and exceptional engineering infrastructure.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday | 08:00 – 17:00
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Report directly to the Operations Manager
* Deliver against agreed KPIs and SLAs
* Manage health & safety, compliance, and environmental performance
* Plan and oversee building shutdowns and complex project works
* Ensure adherence to quality procedures across the site
* Lead on staff recruitment, training, and development (including annual appraisals)
* Handle staff absenteeism and disciplinary processes as required
* Manage client relationships and act as the main point of contact
* Oversee reporting and documentation
* Identify and develop additional business opportunities to increase revenue and client satisfaction
* Provide technical support to both client and engineering team
* Manage the permit system
* Attend and lead on client meetings
* Have a strong commercial understanding (P&L, budgeting, forecasting)
Requirements:
* Qualified in an engineering discipline (Electrical or Mechanical) – C&G, HNC, HND or higher
* Strong background in hard FM service delivery in commercial environments
* Experience managing an FM engineering team
* Solid track record in commercial building maintenance
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to prioritise and manage a demanding workload
* Strong client-facing and customer service skills
