Housekeeper
Location: Hartwell, Northampton
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Hours: 6 hours per week (10am - 4pm every Sunday)
The Oakleaf Group is currently recruiting for a part-time, experienced Housekeeper. The role involves working 6 hours per week, with flexibility to provide cover as needed.
This position involves working as part of our care delivery team to maintain high standards of resident care. The Housekeeper will assist in delivering a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff, reporting to the Home Manager.

Responsibilities:
* Follow directions from the Nurse and Home Manager.
* Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all areas to a high standard.
* Work according to an agreed timetable.
* Keep the building's fabric and integrity in good condition.
* Ensure a safe environment following health and safety policies.
* Perform additional cleaning as needed.
* Respond to environmental audit action plans.
* Monitor stock usage and storage, adhering to COSHH guidelines.
* Order weekly stock supplies.
* Assist with deep cleaning weekly/monthly.
* Clean carpets for minor spillages as required.
* Empty bins and dispose of waste properly.
* Follow infection control guidelines.
* Monitor environment for additional cleaning needs.
* Follow manual handling, risk assessment, and fire safety procedures.
* Report faulty equipment.
* Work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
* Maintain resident confidentiality and data protection.
* Follow policies and keep training up to date.
* Monitor pest control and report issues.
* Report incidents to the Nurse in Charge.
* Secure keys responsibly.
* Identify own educational needs and undertake relevant training.
