£33,000 per annum + monthly service charge payment.

About the Place
Great Fosters Hotel is an AA Hotel of the Year 2018 and part of Alexander Hotels, a private group of luxury hotels. The Grade 1 listed building sits within 50 acres of gardens and parkland. It offers 5 Stars, 56 bedrooms, an award‑winning Tudor Room (1 Michelin Star, 3 Rosettes), the Estate Grill (2 Rosettes) and several function and dining rooms.
The Role
* Manage a permanent and casual team of six bar staff.
* Complete monthly beverage stocktakes and weekly ordering sheets.
* Ensure staff uniform and personal presentation adheres to hygiene standards.
* Open and close the bar in accordance with SOPs.
* Create and develop seasonal cocktail and beverage menus.
* Achieve Mystery Guest and AA Standards for the department.
* Lead by example in implementing hotel key standards.
* Maintain cleanliness of front‑ and back‑of‑house areas to SOP standards.
* Adopt effective induction and training plans for all new starters.
* Train, coach, and mentor the bar team to ensure excellent performance and motivation.
* Brief the team daily on special service requirements, promotions, and issues.
* Liaise with the Restaurant and Bar Manager to improve bar service offering.
Requirements
* 42 hours per week, various shifts over five days including weekends.
* Smart appearance and passion to lead a team.
* Excellent communication skills and a warm, welcoming personality.
* Supervisory or management experience within a quality bar operation, preferably in a 4‑star or 5‑star hotel.
* Ability to manage and motivate a team.
* Own transport due to semi‑rural location.
