Planning and Logistics Manager, Birmingham
Glebe Farm Foods Ltd. is seeking a Planning and Logistics Manager to join our team based at our farm in Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Operations Manager and will be responsible for planning and coordinating the logistics of our production and delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan all bulk/retail/oat drink orders into the production schedule to meet delivery deadlines.
* Coordinate with local and international third-party packers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of packaging materials.
* Maintain accurate stock records using Sage 200.
* Communicate effectively with the Operations Manager, Finance, and Sales departments to manage stock levels and sales forecasts.
* Manage relationships with logistics companies to ensure deliveries are made on time and in full.
* Address and investigate customer delivery complaints.
* Ensure all export deliveries have correct customs documentation.
* Perform other duties as required by the business.
Requirements
* Experience with Sage 200.
* Ability to analyze data effectively.
* Knowledge of BRC standards and requirements.
* Ability to meet KPIs such as 'Order in Time and Full', 'Warehouse GMP Audit', and 'Orders produced in time and in full'.
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
