About the Role
Are you an experienced Planning Manager with a passion for delivering complex projects in the MEP sector? We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team. You’ll play a pivotal role in managing a small team, overseeing project delivery, and supporting the Programme Manager with expert advice and programme oversight.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a small team of planners, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
* Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules and work banks, ensuring alignment with overall programme objectives.
* Provide strategic advice and regular updates to the Programme Manager on project progress, risks, and opportunities.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery, particularly in MEP disciplines involving building plant.
* Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, resource constraints, and other project challenges.
* Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and forecasts for senior management and stakeholders.
About You
* Proven experience as a Planning Manager within MEP environments (building plant).
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring small teams.
* Excellent knowledge of project planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project) and methodologies.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced project environment.
* Relevant qualifications in engineering, construction management, or a related field are desirable.
