We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Night Care Assistant to join our dedicated team within a 31-bedded residential care home in Wolverhampton. You will play a vital role in ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night while maintaining high standards of person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and repositioning
* Conduct regular night checks to ensure residents' safety and wellbeing
* Support residents with mobility and continence needs
* Accurately complete care records and night reports
* Respond promptly to call bells and emergencies
* Maintain a calm, quiet, and reassuring environment
* Adhere to safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety policies
Requirements
* Previous care experience preferred
* NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
* Medication training (desirable)
* Compassionate, patient, and reliable nature
* Ability to work independently during night hours
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
