We are currently seeking a dedicated and patient Learning Support Assistant to provide one-to-one support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in primary schools across Southampton.
About the Role:
* This rewarding position involves working closely with a child on a one-to-one basis
* Supporting their academic, social, and emotional development in either a Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 setting.
* You’ll be collaborating with class teachers, SENCOs, and parents to tailor support and ensure the child is fully engaged and progressing in their learning.
Requirements:
* Proven experience supporting children with SEN on a one-to-one basis
* Experience in a primary school environment
* A sound understanding of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
