Are you passionate about making a lasting difference in the lives of the families you care for? We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Band 6 Community Midwife. Our maternity team provides a forward-thinking environment, offering comprehensive and high-quality care to women and their families. Our team are committed to promoting woman-centred, individualised care to a diverse population.
We care for approximately 4,300 women annually across our two sites, utilising digital maternity systems. We offer flexible working arrangements, a robust in-service training package and a positive working culture.
Role and Responsibilities
* Assessing, planning and implementing care plans in partnership with women and their families and the wider healthcare team.
* Monitoring and evaluating plan of care, escalating any deviations from the norm to the MDT.
* Providing care in antenatal and postnatal clinics in the community.
* Providing home visits to families.
* Running clinics from the hospital.
* Within limitations of service, strive for continuity and promote informed client choice.
* Work as part of the second-on-call rota to support our experienced homebirth team.
Qualifications and Experience
* We are seeking experienced midwives with a great team ethic.
* A car driver would be ideal, who brings a flexible approach to work.
