Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Service Administrator for our client based in Glasgow.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established Building Services company in a permanent role, supporting a busy service desk. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth planning and coordination of both PPM and reactive works, while delivering excellent administrative support across the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate, plan, and schedule PPM and reactive maintenance works
Liaise effectively with clients, engineers, and managers to ensure smooth operations
Process timesheets, expenses, and holiday requests
Raise and issue purchase orders to engineers and suppliers
Assist in the preparation of quotations
Manage the company van fleet, including scheduling MOTs and service visits
Maintain and update Health & Safety administration records
Update and manage data in the internal operating system
Provide general administrative support to the wider management team
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in a Helpdesk, Planning, or Scheduling role, ideally within FM, Maintenance, or Building Services
Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Experience using IFS or similar internal systems is advantageous
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service focus
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Offering:
Salary of £26,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5.00pm, Friday 8.30am – 4.00pm
