This full-time, permanent position commences in September and offers an exceptional opportunity for an individual who possesses a strong commitment to delivering a rigorous and engaging curriculum to Key Stages 4 and 5 students. Key Responsibilities: Delivering inspiring and comprehensive instruction in Business and Economics to GCSE and A-Level students. Designing and implementing innovative lesson plans that align with the academy's curriculum objectives and assessment frameworks. Assessing student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their academic development. Collaborating with colleagues to enrich the Business and Economics department's offerings and extracurricular activities. Staying abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in Business and Economics education. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification. Demonstrated experience teaching Business and Economics at the secondary level, ideally with a track record of success in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations. A strong understanding of economic principles, business practices, and financial literacy. Proficiency in utilizing technology to enhance teaching and learning.
