Job Duties:
* Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons and activities
* Assisting with the supervision of students in the classroom and around the school
* Providing one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties or special needs
* Helping to prepare teaching materials and resources
* Assisting with classroom management and behaviour control
* Supporting students in their learning and progress
* Communicating effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members
Required Qualifications:
* GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths
* Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
* Enhanced DBS check
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
* Previous experience working in a primary school setting
* Knowledge of the national curriculum and educational policies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work well in a team and independently
* Patience, empathy, and understanding towards students
Preferred Qualifications:
* First Aid certification
* Experience working with students with special educational needs
* Additional qualifications in specific subject areas
Working Conditions:
* Temporary position with the possibility of extension
* Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
* Working in a primary school environment
* Collaborating with teachers and other support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
