Job Purpose
We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Business Tax team in Manchester, responsible for providing tax compliance and advisory services for a wide range of business clients.

This role involves managing a portfolio of clients, providing tax compliance and advisory services, and actively seeking new business opportunities to inform the Partner about potential growth areas.
Key Responsibilities
As Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Relationship and key stakeholder management, handling a portfolio of complex cases from both advisory and compliance perspectives.
* Management and development of staff, mentoring junior staff, and conducting performance appraisals.
* Ensuring compliance work follows procedures and relevant guidance from institutes and HMRC.
Qualifications
To be successful, you should have:
* Substantial corporate tax experience within professional services.
* Experience providing tax advice on complex matters.
* Ability to manage and coach others.
* An interest in developing business growth skills.
Professional Qualifications And Education
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA) and/or tax advisor (CTA) or equivalent.
