Sales Operations Leader (m/f/x)
The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Sales Operations Leader for the Transportation & Electronics Business Group (TEBG) you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:
1. Being part of a global team to collaborate with vertical and commercial teams to define and implement sales strategies to achieve business goals and drive revenue growth.
2. Create sales forecasting input to improve accuracy and help with budgeting, planning, and resource allocation.
3. Defining, monitoring, and analyzing sales performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement for assigned area of responsibility.
4. Streamlining sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
5. Managing and optimizing the use of CRM systems to track customer interactions, sales activities, and as input to forecasting.
6. Managing global TEBG projects related to responsibilities, including needed change management.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
7. Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent experience
8. Significant experience in demand generation roles (sales, marketing, or sales operations)
Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
9. Business and financial acumen, as well as comprehensive knowledge and experience across the Marketing to Order and specifically CRM processes
10. Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with Business & Functional Leaders,
11. Experience in transformational projects possibly related to Business Transformation & IT
12. Demonstrated ability to strengthen organizations, bring our customer needs to life and effectively motivate and energize teams
13. Project management skills
14. Advanced influence, collaboration, and communications skills across countries and cultures
15. Operating with a sense of urgency and bias towards action to drive growth
Job specifics:
16. Geography scope - Global role
17. Candidate location - Onsite 4 days per week at our 3M office in Bracknell, Berkshire
18. Travel expectations - up to 10%
19. Working pattern - full-time
