Description
* Support fee-earners with live files and conveyancing transactions from instruction to post-completion.
* Liaise with clients, agents, lenders, and solicitors to ensure smooth progression of transactions.
* Assist with preparing reports on title, mortgages, and searches (under supervision).
* Review and raise enquiries on title, contract packs, searches, and surveys.
* Handle administrative tasks including file opening, AML compliance, exchange, completion, and post-completion duties.
* Draft financial statements and invoices.
* Maintain internal systems and manage general administration.
Profile
A successful Real Estate Paralegal should have:
* Previous experience in a legal setting, ideally within residential or commercial conveyancing.
* Strong understanding of the conveyancing process.
* Legal qualifications (e., LPC, CILEX) are desirable but not essential-support for qualification routes is available.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
