About the role
1. What the Team Will Do:
Support the Strategic Finance and Pricing team and on occasion the fee earning community across the business. You will be responsible for producing detailed, quality and timely data driven insight to support and improve quality decision making across the group
Partner with Delivery to ensure proper scoping, planning and execution to meet client objectives on time and with a high standard of quality
2. Commercial Analysis
Providing commercial, financial and analytical support for the Pricing team, Head of Strategic Finance and senior management teams designed to drive the right behaviours and enhance profitability.
Provide regular reporting at both high level and granular level to support the Pricing and Profitability monthly review meetings.
Analyse and distil insight from the reporting you produce ensuring that the reports include relevant commentary and key data themes are highlighted.
Use business and commercial knowledge to analyse information in a critical and insightful way, providing accurate and timely recommendations which will ensure the successful delivery of an initiative or project.
Support the Pricing team in scrutinising the financial performance of Practice areas in the business through ad-hoc and regular reporting requirements.
Providing analysis around specific client rates and liaising with the relevant teams to ensure client rates are being applied correctly and consistently.
Providing pricing support to the Pricing team to ensure we win profitable work.
About you
3. Ideally you will have the below skills and experience
CA/MBA in Finance or Master’s degree in Finance, Math, Statistics or Business Administration preferred
3+ years’ experience in leading, auditing, managing and delivering projects is preferred
Excellent Excel skills with an advanced level of expertise in data interrogation, financial modelling and data visualisation in order to present findings to senior stakeholders. Familiarity with the challenges of managing multi-country financial reporting and systems is preferred.
Synthesize complex and diverse information, collect and research data, use intuition and experience to complement data, designs workflows and procedures
Ability to define client requirements within the context of their business .
Ability to use logical sound judgment and experience to determine the appropriate course of action based on data scenario, procedures, and guidelines for a given situation
Gather and use information needed to develop effective solutions to difficult problems or situation
Demonstrate group presentation skills
Communicate effectively at all levels, within organization and client personnel
