Summary

Are you looking to develop your career in Food & Beverage? The National Trust is renowned for its food and hospitality. We run 185 cafes all over England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and we'd love you to join us. We have an opening for a Food and Beverage Assistant Manager. Because we are in a rural area, please think about how you’d be able to get here for work, before applying for the job. Please read our package, below, to see what benefits we offer you. Hours: 37.5 per week, You'll be expected to work weekends, bank holidays, etc as we are a 363 day a year operation. Hours are between 9am-6pm with shifts up to 8 hours. Salary: £26793.00 per annum Duration: This is a fixed term contract due to end when the postholder returns to the role. At this point we cannot confirm exactly how long this contract will last, but it is unlikely to be more than 13 months. Interview date: TBC

What you'll be doing

Working along side the Head Chef, you will be leading a team of 28, with the support of a Team Leader you will be assisting your Manager so we are commercially successful by analysing and Identifying opportunities, stretching targets, consistently delivering exceptional service. You will have delegated responsibilities to your direct line team for scheduling, training, development embedding Food & beverage Standards and Values of the Trust. You'll be part of a friendly, supportive team that thrives in a busy but fun environment, proud of the high-quality dishes we serve and the spirit we bring to every shift. Who we're looking for

1. ability to deliver high standards of service
2. a confident leader, responsible for recruiting, training, and developing a team
3. experience in achieving financial targets and maximising profitability

6. ability to manage a team & rota plan.
