We are seeking a Clinical Strategy expert to join our collaborative team. Your role will accelerate the global introduction and adoption of new products, ensure sustained availability of approved devices, and adhere to regulatory standards.
You will serve as the Global Clinical Strategy (GCS) representative for the Sports Medicine team, providing strategic clinical direction throughout the product lifecycle. Your focus will be on ensuring the evidence for our portfolio meets requirements for new product launches, expanded adoption, and continued access.
This role involves close collaboration with internal functions such as Global Clinical & Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, R&D, and Marketing, as well as external healthcare professionals.
Your expertise in clinical evidence collection will support strategies to identify and address evidence gaps, keeping us at the forefront of medical device innovation.
What will you be doing?
1. Develop clinical strategies aligned with S+N's commercial priorities for the Sports Medicine portfolio.
2. Collaborate with New Product Development to establish user needs, claims, indications, market strategies, and evidence generation plans.
3. Review clinical and health economic evidence, identify gaps, and assess literature, registries, and unpublished studies.
4. Develop study proposals and initiate activities to generate evidence, managing investigators and study sites.
5. Oversee Investigator Initiator Studies, research collaborations, and real-world data collection to meet objectives and milestones.
6. Create and review documentation supporting the product lifecycle.
7. Analyze data, develop reports, and ensure stakeholder communication.
8. Formulate publication strategies and present progress and results.
9. Represent the team at conferences and training labs as appropriate.
What will you need to be successful?
A highly educated background in a relevant scientific, clinical, or engineering field with extensive experience is required. Experience in developing clinical evidence strategies, working with healthcare professionals, clinical research, and study design is essential. Familiarity with medical device software solutions and sports medicine surgical techniques is advantageous.
