Teaching Personnel is recruiting enthusiastic and motivated graduates for Cover Supervisor roles in secondary schools across the region, starting this September.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom in the absence of a teacher, delivering pre-prepared lesson material and maintaining a positive learning environment. It’s a fantastic opportunity to develop classroom management skills, build confidence, and gain first-hand experience of school life.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-set lesson plans to classes across a range of subjects
* Manage student behaviour and ensure a safe, respectful learning environment
* Support students with their learning and encourage classroom engagement
* Report back to teaching staff and contribute to the wider school team
What We’re Looking For:
* A recent graduate (any subject) with a passion for working with young people
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A confident and proactive approach to managing a classroom
* Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for a permanent role in the future.
