We are looking for a temp to perm Van Driver to start immediately for our client based in Dunstable. This role is long distance driving on either a Luton van or a low loader van.
Start Times:
Monday to Friday 07:00AM
As a Van Driver you must:
* Have Category B License
* Minimum 2 years experience as a Van Driver due to client insurance purposes
* Have no more than 6 points on your licence
* Knowledge of strapping down the load
* Experience driving Luton vans
* Have a Sat Nav
* Have Safety Boots & Hi Vis
Van Driver responsibilities include:
* Make deliveries of up to 15 cylinders through long distance driving. Some routes cover Skegness, Brighton, Portsmouth and London
* Follow the client's routing system
* Good Communication with the depot and customers whilst out on deliveries
* Knowledge of bridge heights
* Be quick on your feet
The successful Van Driver can expect:
* Agency pay for the first 12 weeks (60 shifts) - £14.25 per hour inclusive of holiday pay
* The successful candidate will then go on a full time contract with client of 40 hours per week plus overtime after 40 hours (salary £27,872 )
* 24 days annual leave plus bank holiday (3 days must be taken between Christmas and New Year)
