Senior Design Manager Substations & OHL, up to £90,000 DOE + Package
First Task Professional are currently working alongside a business that is anticipating an extremely busy 5‑year period after recent successful tenders for frameworks in the power sector.
They are looking to build a team in the Scottish market permanently due to this success – this will include a Senior Design Manager with previous experience in the power sector, ideally with exposure to substations and overhead lines.
What we’re looking for
* Familiarity with pre‑construction and tender design appointments
* Design Manager or Senior Design Manager experience
* Knowledge and experience in the energy sector, particularly with substations
* Proficiency in working under NEC3/NEC4 contracts and managing associated change processes
* Skilled in appointing design consultants and overseeing scope and programme management
* Strong understanding of design management processes and procedures
* Experience with BIM (Building Information Modelling) is advantageous
