Job Overview

As a Part-Time Recruitment Officer, you'll play a vital role in supporting our HR and recruitment team to attract and onboard passionate individuals who are ready to make a real difference in people's lives. You'll be the first point of contact for candidates, providing a friendly and efficient experience from application to induction. Experience in care will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

* Draft, prepare and post job adverts on relevant platforms in a timely and accurate manner
* Monitor applications and ensure prompt responses to candidate queries
* Keep applicants informed throughout the recruitment process
* Represent Ultracare with professionalism and warmth as the first point of contact
* Coordinate pre-employment checks (references, DBS, right to work, etc.)
* Prepare offer letters and contracts
* Ensure all onboarding documentation is complete and compliant
* Support with induction processes and welcome new starters
* Maintain accurate records on recruitment and HR systems
* Generate reports and data to support workforce planning and recruitment strategy
* Assist with HR and recruitment-related projects as required
* Attend local job fairs and recruitment events when needed
* Provide ad-hoc reception and admin support
* Assist with other general administrative duties as directed

Skills

* Experience in recruitment, HR, or administrative roles (preferably within care or health sectors)
* Excellent organisation and time management skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
* A proactive, detail-focused approach
* Confidence using digital systems and HR/recruitment software
* Accuracy in maintaining recruitment records and logs
* Interview preparation and follow-up

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
