About the Role We are looking for a Compliance Engineer – Technical to join our Compliance team and play a key role in maintaining our regulatory approvals and operational standards. Reporting to the Compliance Manager, the Compliance Engineer – Technical is responsible for ensuring continued compliance with civil and military aviation regulations and international standards. You will act as a technical and regulatory focal point across the business, supporting the organisation in maintaining approvals and delivering safe, compliant operations for our customers. Key Responsibilities Compliance & Assurance Deliver compliance assurance across all technical capabilities in line with UK CAA, MAA, EASA and other applicable regulations Conduct internal and external audits against civil, military and international standards Support compliance monitoring of the Business Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 Manage audit non-conformances and drive timely and effective corrective actions Maintain and develop company expositions and support regulatory approvals Regulatory & Technical Support Act as a focal point for regulatory and standards-related advice across the business Monitor changes in aviation legislation and international standards, ensuring updates are reflected in company processes and documentation Support management of key compliance systems, including personnel authorisations and capability listings Safety & Standards Promote a strong safety culture and operate in line with Draken Europe SHE standards Apply risk assessments and safe systems of work across all activities Experience, Skills & Qualifications Essential Formal aviation engineering qualification Strong knowledge of civil and military aviation regulations (UK CAA, MAA, EASA, FAA, MAOS) Experience conducting audits within a regulated aviation environment Experience working within a Quality Management System Internal or Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 9001 or equivalent) Desirable Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards Experience with Safety Management Systems Personal Attributes Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities Self-motivated, resilient and confident in a challenging regulatory environment High levels of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail Our employee values Draken is committed to eliminating unlawful and unfair discrimination and we celebrate the differences that a diverse workforce brings.
