Hours of Work: Monday – Thursday 07.00 – 17.15
What you will be doing
As an Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production and development of advanced engineering solutions. Your responsibilities will include developing build methodologies, drafting detailed work instructions, supporting new design initiatives, maintaining vital test equipment, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to optimise processes and ensure safety standards are met. This role provides a fantastic mix of hands-on technical work, innovative problem-solving, and process enhancement—giving you the chance to truly make an impact in our manufacturing success.
What we are looking for
Educated to AS/A level or equivalent in maths, physics, chemistry, or related technical subjects
A solid understanding of battery pack development and/or battery cell design and manufacturing
Excellent practical manufacturing skills including soldering, crimping, and resistance welding (IPC standards desirable)
Ability to interpret drawings and wiring diagrams accurately
Basic 3D CAD experience, preferably with SolidworksWhat we offer in return
