We are representing a growing employee-owned Building Services Consultancy with an expanding office in Leeds. The business has a total headcount of 50+ employees, with 15–20 based in Leeds, and is recognised for its positive culture, motivating environment, and commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Role Overview
Due to continued growth, the consultancy is seeking experienced Senior and Principal Electrical Engineers to join their Leeds team. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated professionals to play a key role in the delivery of projects, lead and mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the ongoing growth of the office.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead electrical design on a range of building services projects from concept to completion
* Provide technical leadership and mentor junior and intermediate engineers within the team
* Ensure designs are fully compliant with regulations and industry standards
* Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes
* Manage resources and budgets to deliver projects on time and within scope
* Actively contribute to business development and the strengthening of client relationships
* Support the long-term growth of the Leeds office and wider business
Candidate Requirements
* Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
* Chartered, or working towards Chartered status (IEng/CEng)
* Proven experience in building services consultancy with strong electrical design expertise
* Excellent technical knowledge across relevant software and design tools
* Strong communication and client-facing skills
* Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire junior engineers
* A proactive, problem-solving approach and commitment to high standards of delivery
* Competitive salary of £50,000–£65,000 depending on experience
