* Availability for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora's "coordination hours" (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)
* 4+ years of recruiting and/or sourcing experience, including 2+ years in talent sourcing for engineering roles
* Proficiency with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, sequencing tools, ATSs, and similar platforms
* Experience sourcing talent internationally for global organizations, specifically in North America, with an understanding of diverse markets and hiring practices
* Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and ability to work proactively in ambiguous environments
* Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Ashby
* Prior experience recruiting and/or sourcing in a fast-paced startup environment
* Love of learning and the Quora and Poe products

* The Recruiting Team at Quora is at the forefront of driving the company's growth by hiring and retaining world-class talent to shape the future of AI
* We specialize in innovative strategies to build diverse pipelines for both technical and non-technical roles, including senior engineering hiring
* Our team thrives on balancing multiple pipelines, crafting effective outreach strategies, and leveraging cutting-edge tools to connect with top talent globally
* Source candidates for Quora and Poe via LinkedIn, Juicebox, Boolean, and creative techniques
* Review inbound applications and identify qualified candidates
* Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to build and manage proactive pipelines
* Manage the candidate journey from outreach to interview coordination, ensuring a smooth experience
* Conduct market research, maintain talent maps, and build a diverse candidate network for current and future needs
* Achieve sourcing metrics (outreach volume, pipeline goals, time-to-source targets)
* Write compelling outreach campaigns to engage prospective candidates
