The Role:
As a Legal Cost Advisor you will be managing your own caseload of files with a focus on defendant cost files. You will be managing all aspects of cost case management as part of a leading global law firm.

Responsibilities:
1. Managing a caseload of Defendant and Claimant costs files
2. Drafting Points of Disputes and Replies to Cost claims
3. Drafting bills of costs and schedules of Costs
4. Negotiating costs offers and settlements and advising on cost claims
5. Preparing costs budgets and discussion reports
About you:
1. You should have at least two years of experience in budgeting, negotiation, and drafting of Defendant and Claimant costs files
2. You should have experience in insurance sector costs to include RTA, EL/PL, Industrial Disease, and Clinical Negligence
3. You should have strong knowledge of the Fixed Recoverable Costs regime
