Interim Head of Finance - Bristol (Hybrid)
Location: Bristol - 2 to 3 days per week on-site
Contract Length: 3 to 6 months initially
Rate: Inside IR35 via Umbrella or PAYE
Robert Half is exclusively partnering with a South West-based organisation to recruit an Interim Head of Finance. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused finance leader to join a business undergoing a significant change and transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities
As Interim Head of Finance, you will be responsible for leading the finance function and providing strategic financial insight to senior stakeholders. Your remit will include:
1. Leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
2. Preparing and delivering monthly management accounts with analysis and commentary
3. Driving operational best practice and continuous improvement across the finance team
4. Overseeing commercial finance activities including contract management, cost control, KPIs, and ROI
5. Acting as a trusted advisor to the Senior Leadership Team, supporting strategic decision-making
Candidate Profile
To be considered for this role, you will:
6. Be immediately available to start
7. Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience leading a finance function
8. Be a hands-on leader with a proactive and collaborative approach
9. Have experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
10. Demonstrate adaptability and openness to change
