About the Role
This long-term Year 2 teaching position offers the chance to lead a settled and motivated class within a school known for its strong values, collaborative culture, and commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
You will play a key role in delivering creative and engaging lessons, tracking pupil progress, and building strong relationships with children, staff, and families.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver dynamic and differentiated lessons for Year 2 pupils
* Support children’s academic and personal development
* Use effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment
* Work closely with colleagues to contribute to a cohesive Key Stage 1 team
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching Key Stage 1, with a strong understanding of Year 2 expectations
* A positive, adaptable, and child-centred approach
* Strong organisational skills and a commitment to inclusive practice
* A genuine passion for supporting young learners to achieve their potential
