THE ROLE
As Senior Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the financial strategy and governance of this exceptional organisation. This is a high-visibility position where your expertise will directly influence strategic decision-making at the highest levels.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the production of management accounts and financial reporting for senior stakeholders
* Providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic business decisions
* Managing and mentoring junior team members to foster a high-performance culture
* Developing and enhancing financial controls and processes
* Partnering with business leaders to drive profitability and operational excellence
* Contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities
* Ensuring regulatory compliance across all financial reporting
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
We're looking for an exceptional finance professional who brings:
* Qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Proven experience in a senior financial role within financial services
* Experience in wealth management would be highly advantageous
* Strong technical accounting knowledge with excellent analytical abilities
* Advanced skills in financial systems and Excel
* Outstanding communication and stakeholder management capabilities
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach with meticulous attention to detail
* Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and develop others
