Ultra Precision Control Systems are looking for a Configuration Controller to join PCS's Engineering Function on a fixed term basis (FTC) to manage Ultra PCS's configuration management processes and tasks. Key responsibilities Configuration control of product build standards and parts. Input and maintenance of product data and build standards/Part Structures into the ERP/MRP system. Publishing of drawings and technical documents through the Ultra PCS PLM system. PLM administrative support. Management of Drawings/document Revision Control and Change Requests ensuring compliance with Configuration Control Procedures. Control of customer specifications and documentation into PLM. Management and administration of supplier data packs. Management and maintenance of Registers, Logs, Standards, Procedures and Company Technical Library Management of Configuration Control Board Meetings (CCB's), incl. minutes and document support. Maintain and support all PCS part numbering systems, file management processes and project structures. Maintain organisational and CM performance metrics and implement corrective actions as applicable. Support general engineering activities as directed by the Configuration Manager. Required Skills & Experience: Educated as a minimum, to BTEC level 4/5 HNC/HND or recognized equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a similar engineering discipline. Have a can do attitude and is approachable and able to work within a matrix organisation. A quick learner who is willing to pick up new tasks. No previous configuration experience is required; this role will include training to shape the individual on how PCS use Teamcenter and the configuration needed.
