Job Description:
The Role
We are looking for a hard-working software developer to lead a new Research and Development branch of our Streamline developer tools team.
This role involves crafting new, experimental tools and features that can empower our customers in the short term and be integrated into the Streamline tool in the long term. The ideal candidate should adapt their team's work to a changing roadmap as customer needs evolve. The role also involves collaborating with the wider team to integrate new features into the next generation of performance analysis tools for Arm CPUs and Mali GPUs.

Our mission is to build or enable tools that improve system performance, productivity, or time to market. Responsibilities:
* Leading the R&D team, managing multiple projects and tools.
* Collaborating with internal and external customers and the core Streamline team.
* Developing and testing code in various languages.
* Working in an Agile environment and promoting continuous improvement throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Strong software development skills in Java or C++.
* Experience working closely with customers.
* Leadership experience in managing software projects or teams.
* A university degree in engineering, scientific, or mathematical fields, or equivalent experience.
Nice To Have Skills and Experience:
* Experience in people management.
* Experience with software optimization and profiling, especially system software.
* Knowledge of scripting languages like Python and Linux command line.
* Familiarity with Linux/POSIX development or low-level Linux/Android systems programming.
