A leading UK law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Paralegal into its Real Estate team in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a residential property paralegal looking to gain exposure to a broad range of high-quality real estate work, including residential conveyancing, lease extensions, and portfolio property matters.
The Role
* Managing a caseload of residential property matters including sales and purchases
* Assisting with residential lease extensions acting for both landlords and tenants
* Reviewing and reporting on title documentation
* Preparing reports on title and key transaction documents
* Completing SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
* Handling client enquiries and supporting day‑to‑day file management
* Providing clients with regular progress reports and monthly invoicing updates
* Supporting a partner directly while contributing to the wider Real Estate team
* Maintaining accurate electronic and hard-copy files in line with firm procedures and compliance standards
About You
* Minimum 12 months’ experience in a residential property paralegal role
* Experience handling conveyancing transactions and lease extension matters
* Strong drafting, organisational and administrative skills
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
* Strong communication and client management skills
* Ability to work independently while supporting senior stakeholders
* Commercially aware with a proactive and professional approach
* Strong academic background, ideally with a 2:1 degree
* Experience working with residential development or housing sector clients would be advantageous
