Our client is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Dry Lining Estimator to join their pre-construction team. This is a key role where you will ensure accurate project costings, enabling the successful delivery of high-quality dry lining solutions across a variety of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare comprehensive and precise dry lining cost estimates for projects ranging from small-scale refurbishments to large commercial developments.
* Collaborate closely with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to collect and analyse all project information, ensuring estimates reflect the true scope of work.
* Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documents to produce accurate and competitive pricing.
* Ensure all estimates are aligned with company profitability targets, standards, and project timelines.
* Monitor and analyse market trends, material costs, and labour rates to maintain up-to-date and competitive pricing models.
* Support the pre-construction team with risk analysis, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving strategies.
* Contribute to bid submissions and client presentations, providing clear and detailed breakdowns of estimates.
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in estimating within the construction sector, specifically in dry lining.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, able to build positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work to tight deadlines.
* A proactive approach with the ability to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction.
