Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint an English teacher on behalf of our large client school located in Bolton. This position is set to start from April 2026 on a full-time basis.
This secondary school are looking for an enthusiastic English teacher with experience in teaching, marking and assessing all areas of the KS3 and KS4 National Curriculum.
Role responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging lessons incorporating all key areas of the curriculum.
* Engage in the full planning and marking cycle.
* Provide regular and consistent feedback whilst setting appropriate targets.
* Manage classroom behaviour following school guidelines and policies.
* Excellent organisational skills
* High expectations of pupil’s achievement and behaviour.
The successful teacher will have a track record of excellent classroom practice and hold high expectations of their students. You will motivate and inspire students to achieve their full personal and academic potential.
Requirements:
* Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE specialising in English.
* Passion for teaching and fostering a love for learning.
