Finance Director - Insurance Broker - London (4 days office) - £130,000 - £150,000 bonus and benefits Your new company I am currently working with a growing insurance broker based in the heart of the City. With a strong reputation in the market and ambitious plans for growth, they are now looking to appoint a Finance Director to lead the day-to-day finance operations and ensure robust client money management. This is a key leadership role, reporting directly to the Divisional CEO and offering the opportunity to shape the finance function in a dynamic and regulated environment. Your new role This is a broad and hands-on role with key duties and responsibilities including: Overseeing the day-to-day running of the finance function, including financial operations, reporting, and controls Ensuring full compliance with FCA client money regulations and maintaining robust client money processes Managing month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of management accounts Leading the audit process and liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies Developing and mentoring a small finance team Driving process improvements and automation across finance operations What you'll need to succeed You will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with proven experience in the insurance sector, within a Lloyd’s broker. A strong understanding of Client money rules (CASS 5) are essential, along with a track record of managing financial operations in a fast-paced, regulated business. You’ll be a confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead a small team.
