What you'll do:
At SuperAwesome, Technical Operations Managers are the connective tissue between Ad Operations, Engineering, and Supply Management - owning our delivery infrastructure, general platform troubleshooting and QA processes that underpin our ad products.
You can expect to work cross-functionally to ensure flawless campaign delivery, integration support, tooling efficiency, and platform compliance, playing a key role in the execution and scale of our privacy-first advertising products.
You’ll be successful in the role because you are curious and like to solve commercially important puzzles, you thrive working in a multi-discipline team and enjoy working in advertising technology.
In this role, you will:
* Triage and resolve ad platform issues raised by Ad Operations and delivery teams, identifying root causes and collaborating with Engineering or Product where needed
* Oversee QA processes for Kidsafe Filter (KSF) and creative compliance
* Lead DSP/SSP technical onboarding, including pre-launch testing, documentation, and ongoing troubleshooting for publisher integrations and 3rd-party demand
* Standardize and improve creative validation workflows
* Partner with Yield and Optimization to diagnose delivery anomalies, e.g. pacing issues or low fill, that may stem from infrastructure or creative setup
* Contribute to playbook development, documenting recurring technical issues and resolutions to improve self-service across the Ad Ops team
* Collaborate with Engineering and Product to flag operational pain points, improve tooling, and influence the development roadmap with operational & commercial needs in mind
* Implement and manage incident tracking and resolution workflows, ensuring SLAs are upheld and issues are closed with clear visibility and communication
* Act as a key liaison across Ad Ops, Engineering, Product, and Supply teams
* Train delivery team members and internal stakeholders on tooling, QA protocols, and common troubleshooting pathways
Who you are:
* You bring 3–5 years of experience in ad tech, technical operations, or program management, preferably within a DSP, SSP, or publisher environment
* You’re highly organized with a proactive problem-solving mindset and strong technical acumen
* You have a solid understanding of programmatic infrastructure, trafficking, and ad delivery pipelines
* You’re comfortable with incident response workflows and know how to prioritize, document, and escalate technical issues with clarity and urgency
* You’re fluent in creative QA and ad formats (VAST, VPAID, HTML5, JavaScript), rich media platforms (e.g. Celtra) and experienced in tagging and tag wrapping
* You’re an expert in Beeswax and familiar with DSPs like DV360, Adlook, The Trade Desk, and SSPs like Magnite, Nexxen and Improve
* You are comfortable working in tools like JIRA and internal dashboards; SQL skills are a plus
* You’re confident working across cross-functional teams, and thrive in environments where you’re the connective layer between business and engineering
* You care deeply about privacy-first advertising and compliance frameworks like COPPA and GDPR-K
