Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires proficiency in xero accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
The role would be part time 1 day a week 5-6 hours to start with. flexible hours/day
Responsibilities
* Maintain and update financial records using accounting software Xero.
* Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
* Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow effectively.
* Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
* Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
Skills
* Proficiency in accounting software Xero is essential.
* Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
