We are looking for a Working Supervisor to join our team in Chesterfield on a full-time, permanent basis.
About the roleYou will manage an area-based team of tradespeople and contractors to ensure that all works are delivered safely and to a quality-based standard, compliant with building legislation. You will need to make sure that works are delivered to agreed-upon timescales and all objectives are met. You will support the Service Manager by providing updates on progress issues.

You will also be able to demonstrate:
* Competence within plumbing and carpentry trades.
* Various secondary trade skills and experience outside of primary trade.
* Ability to make decisions and solve problems, seeking any advice required.
* Experience of working in a customer-focused environment within agreed performance targets.
* Ability to correctly complete the relevant certifications, reports, or other documentation. Recognised competency in Carpentry or Plumbing.
* Ability to accurately interpret technical data and instructions.
* Good understanding of H&S within the built environment.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate organisational and team management skills.
* Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
Desirable:
* Experience of working as part of an operational team delivering front-line services.
* Team leader management within building maintenance.
